Great value for money, the room was clean and the location was perfect. The staff at this hotel, especially the girls at the reception, were super friendly and provided us with quick service.
Food for breakfast could have been better, maybe more variety of options would be nice.

The hotel is 20 feet from the metro. Wi-fi in the public area. Big and tasty crossaints for breakfast.
The bed in the double it's not for 2 persons but just 1,5. Very noisy spot, there are 2 bars just under the window with people screaming all the night long. The room lacks of mini-bar. Only 3-4 channels working on the tv.

Friendly staff. The location was great for what we wanted to do. It's only a 5 minute walking distance from the Plaza Royale. Lots of places to eat in the area. Metro is very close.
Overpriced for the room and quality that you receive. The decor is terrible. You walk into the lobby to find old, ugly, brown leather couches/chairs lining the walls. It smells of stale cigarette smoke. The room is of good size, but the beds and bedspreads are very old and torn. The continental breakfast is not worth it. You're better off going to the Starbucks around the corner.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money is fantastic - the prices are very reasonable given the location in the heart of the city. Being right next to the metro station and Gran Via street made it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our rooms were always stocked with clean towels and that any issues were quickly resolved. Despite the rooms having furniture from the 1950s, they were clean and comfortable. Lastly, the breakfast provided was a nice touch, setting us up for the day ahead.
Everything was great, no complaints.

We had a fantastic stay in a hotel located in the perfect spot for exploring and enjoying the city. The location was ideal, being only a short metro ride from the airport and right in the heart of the capital city next to a main metro station and Gran Via street. The staff were great and always helpful with any queries we had. The room was well-kept, the bathroom was clean and fitted with all the necessary amenities, and the breakfast was delicious. The facilities were convenient, including lock boxes and luggage storage.
There was a negative encounter in the hotel according to another guest review which left us feeling uncomfortable.

Good location The room facing the inner courtyard was very quiet, the room facing the street was noisy - ask for a quiet room. Beds pretty good but pillows thin
Reception area has unfinished building work and needs brightening up - looks gloomy. Plumbing noisy (could hear water running noisily whenever other bathrooms were used)

The hotel was conveniently located next to the Gran Via as well as the Plaza de España metro stop. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The air conditioner in my room wasn't working, and because the street is very noisy late at night, it was impossible to sleep. The next night, the staff was helpful and found me another room with a functioning AC. However, we had to look through many rooms, because quite a few of them did not have a working unit.

Very centric, close to many shops, restaurants, metro stations and areas of interest.
Other than the night doorman, the hotel staff is not attentive nor collaborative. The condition of the building is terrible. The noise from the street is not attenuated at all by the windows, and the sound coming from other rooms or the corridor comes through the walls. Not to mention that flushing the toilette, in any room, causes a loud roar. We could have lived with that, as we stayed for one night only, but what was unacceptable was the stained carpet, chair, bed sheet, night table and the questionable hygiene of the bath tub (we actually decided to wait for taking a shower until we are back home, rather than doing it there)

We spent Christmas at this hotel and had a nice stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located near a metro station, so it was easy to get around the city. We also appreciated the fact that the hotel offered free Wi-Fi and daily room cleaning.
The room was quite small and outdated. The bed was not very comfortable, and the bathroom could have been cleaner.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The prices were reasonable and the attention to detail was impressive. The location was ideal, being just a block away from two grocery stores and very close to the Plaza de España Metro station. This meant that it was in the heart of the city, making it perfect for sightseeing and exploring all that the city has to offer. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. The basic amenities were satisfactory and the rooms, although furnished with furniture from the 1950s, were clean and comfortable. The clean towels provided added to the overall comfort. Additionally, the breakfast provided was good and provided a variety of options to suit different tastes.
All was fine, no major issues.

Very responsive and courteous staff. Daughter was not feeling well with slight headache and possible cold symptoms. Receptionist was kind enough to provide some cold/headache tablets.
Water pipes pressure generates very loud noise that disturbs sleep. Since the hotel seems fairly old maybe it is time for a plumbing tune up.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
